My client has grown over the past few years, into one of the best online marketing companies in the industry. Specialising purely in ppc (pay per click) advertising, they have a uniquely in-depth understanding of the industry and consequently offer their clients a focused and expert solution. The services offered include campaign design, implementation, management and analysis.
What are they looking for ?
Firstly, you will need some knowledge or practical experience of Paid Search - primarily Google Adwords, but potentially also Yahoo Search Marketing. It doesn't need to be extensive experience, but you must have some familiarity.
Secondly, you will need the aptitude to learn new concepts quickly, and understand the importance of keeping up-to-date with new technologies.
Thirdly (and perhaps most importantly), you will need the right personality. The company pride themselves on the level of service offered to their clients, and you will need to understand their business objectives and genuinely care about helping them to achieve these. You'll also need a sense of humour. It's a fun, lively environment where everyone understands the need for team building and socialising.
There will be a steep learning curve so you need to be committed and motivated, but you'll have the opportunity to work on client campaigns from initial point of contact, through to ongoing management. You'll be responsible for your own workload, so the ability to plan and prioritise is essential.
