Questions and Answers
Take a positive approach to the answers you give. Avoid a simple yes or no answer. Many interview questions are intentionally designed to see how you answer them. Why not consider and prepare answers for these commonly asked questions ; Tell me about your achievements / what is your greatest achievement ? Try to make this work rather than socially related. You know what we mean. Strengths and Weaknesses ? It’s there in almost every interview, so prepare yourself. Tell the interviewer how your strengths could apply to the role, and be honest when it comes to weaknesses. Explain how you are working on overcoming them. Tell me a little about yourself. Again, this is an opportunity to sell yourself and show how your skills are relevant to the position on offer. Some other specific questions ; What do you enjoy about working in this industry ? What sort of people do you enjoy working with? What is the most challenging situation you’ve been in and how did you deal with it ? What qualities do you think are essential for this role ? How well do you work under pressure ? What is your motivation ? What are your hobbies and spare time activities ? How does your current role fit in with the department and company? How do you cope with criticism? What are your preferred working conditions? What are you looking for in a company? Why would you be the right person for this job? Where do you see this job going?
