Affiliates4U Networking Event   no comments

Again, the Affiliate Marketing community came together last night to meet new friends and old (and have a beer or two), and everyone seemed to have an excellent time.
We met up with many of our clients (and candidates we’ve introduced to them). There seemed to be a feeling that the industry is in an good position overall, with more merchants / advertisers seeing the benefit of affiliate marketing all the time. There’s also some excellent tools for Affiliates on the market now, such as skimlinks, easycontentunits and of course Wordpress (this site is built on it!). All these go a long way to make it easier for publishers to innovate in other ways.

If you have affiliate marketing jobs which require attention, or you’re looking for a new job in affiliate marketing please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Here’s a brief video shot from the bar last night. Who is that waving?

A4U Expo time is coming round again !

Anyone who is relevant in Affiliate Marketing is likely to be there, and as I pointed out in my post yesterday – Affiliate Marketing is set to have another good year. Affiliate Marketing jobs slowed a little at the beginning of this year, but we’ve seen a steady increase over the past few months.

The Expo is the best opportunity for Networks, Merchants, Agencies and Publishers to meet and network in the UK.
They seem to have changed the format very slightly as the price paid, now includes the conferences unlike last year where this was a paid extra. This is a good move I think as from what I saw, most people were wandering into the conferences unchecked anyway. I’m not sure if the speakers have been announced yet, but the information that can be gathered at the Expo will certainly be extensive.

Don’t forget the parties too ! See you there !
